You’ll have the opportunity to have fun cooking with other teens while helping people fighting severe illness. With the guidance of adult mentor chefs you’ll learn to prepare, cook, and package meals.

We ask that our teens are at least in 8th grade and above, and between the ages of 14 and 19. We ask for a three-month commitment from all teen volunteers, and we ask that you work at least a 2.5 to 3 hour shift each week.

Teen Volunteering takes places each Wednesday from 3:30 to 6:30pm at Park Congregational Church (10 East Park Place NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503).

We invite you to step into an experience that revolves around learning, growing and giving back to your community. Every week, you’ll help prepare hundreds of beautiful, delicious, and nourishing meals for families in our community dealing with serious illness.
