Donor Engagement Specialist
Job Type: Part-Time | 12-13 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible/Hybrid
Position Overview: Revive and Thrive Project (RTP), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing medically supportive meals to individuals in health crises, is seeking a Donor Engagement Specialist to lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts. The Donor Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission by developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with donors, and securing financial support. This position is essential to support the financial sustainability and growth of RTP and will work closely with the Executive Director and other staff to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Support:
Assist with the development and execution of strategic fundraising plans that align with the organization's short-term and long-term goals.
Launch fundraising campaigns, including major gifts and donor events.
Work closely with development consultants to identify and develop sponsorship opportunities that align with organizational goals.
Work with the Executive Director to identify key fundraising priorities and targets.
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors.
Acknowledge and thank donors promptly and meaningfully for their contributions.
Coordinate donor visits, calls, and meetings to engage them in the organization's mission.
Sponsorship Cultivation Support:
Work closely with development consultants to cultivate and steward relationships with corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
Event Management:
Work closely with development consultants to solicit sponsorships and manage relationships with corporate sponsors for events and/or assets.
Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events.
Coordinate post-event follow-up with donors and sponsors, including sending thank-you notes, sharing impact reports, and scheduling follow-up meetings to deepen relationships and secure future support.
Marketing and Communication:
Collaborate with the Communications Team to create materials and messaging that effectively communicate RTP’s mission and impact to donors.
Assist the Communications Team with digital marketing, social media campaigns, and newsletters focused on donor engagement and fundraising.
Data Management and Analysis:
Oversee the management of the donor database (SalesForce), ensuring accurate data entry, gift tracking, and acknowledgment processes.
Analyze fundraising metrics to inform future strategies and decision-making.
Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to the Executive Director.
Budgeting and Financial Planning:
Work closely with the Executive Director to develop fundraising budgets and financial projections.
Monitor and report on fundraising activities in relation to budget goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field.
Experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
Experience with donor relationship management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in donor management software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital fundraising tools.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:
Flexible hours with some evenings and weekends required for events.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
