Program Assistant
Job Type: Part-Time | 30 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible schedule with on-site hours required on Mondays (9 am – 3 pm) and Wednesdays (10 am – 7:30 pm) and a mix of hybrid and on-site work during weekdays.

Position Overview: The Program Assistant supports the efficient daily operations of Revive & Thrive Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community through medically supportive meals and impactful programs. This role is instrumental in ensuring the quality and consistency of services while fostering a collaborative environment among staff and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare menus, labels, and client communications for meal service.
Oversee quality assurance for special diet meal creation, labeling, and packaging.
Coordinate the food packaging process, ensuring quality control and safety.
Collaborate with staff and volunteers to efficiently package and distribute food.
Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and volunteer communication.
Train and supervise volunteers in food packaging and distribution activities.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client information and enforcing privacy practices.
Foster a positive volunteer environment, recognizing and appreciating contributions.
Address volunteer inquiries and concerns promptly and empathetically.
Support grant administration, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
Maintain detailed records for grant reporting purposes.
Generate and analyze program data to identify trends and measure impact.
Maintain detailed records of client demographics, services provided, and program outcomes for grant reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
Experience in nonprofit organizations, food distribution, or volunteer coordination is an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High energy, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable transportation for delivery support.
Ability to lift 30-35 pounds as needed.
